Movement changes

Esther Bachmann

About me

I started teaching dance at the age of 15 and since then I have been sharing my joy of movement with a wide variety of people. My in-depth knowledge of the body is not only important in the field of dance and movement, but also in coaching and supervision processes, where I tailor it to the individual I am working with.

motopedics

Movement classes are social gatherings where people have the opportunity to feel themselves, experience themselves as part of a group, and be in sensory contact with their environment.

Marianne Eisenbuger

Promoting development and personal growth through exercise

The starting point for motopedics therapy is the individual's level of development in terms of their movement and perception abilities. Specific physical and movement-oriented activities are created that take feelings, interests, and resources into account and are highly motivating. Movement patterns are activated that are linked to everyday activities or evoke memories of play activities. Motopedics is a holistic approach to promoting development and personality formation through movement. It aims to encourage, guide, and support people in exploring their environment through their own actions.

Relaxation techniques and bodywork

In these fast-paced times, and under the pressure to perform amid the dynamic changes affecting all organizations, a place of calm, a space for time, can be both stress-relieving and energizing. Through various relaxation techniques and selected methods of bodywork, this space should be opened up and made accessible again:

Relaxation techniques:
  • autogenic training
  • Progressive muscle relaxation
  • Breathing relaxation
  • Body and dream journeys
Bodywork:
  • Mobilization of the three breathing spaces
  • Mobilization of the muscles
  • Body awareness training
  • Training the whole-body connection through Bartenieff Fundamentals

Measure your strength – feel your strength

Nowadays, young people and increasingly children often see no other way out than to react to conflict situations with violence or oppositional behavior.

To prevent aggression problems, this program teaches alternative behavioral strategies and also encourages the targeted release of aggression through special games, wrestling and roughhousing, as well as dance-based movement activities such as hip-hop.

The aim is to give children and young people opportunities to test themselves in a social setting, but also to measure their strengths and learn what it means to be part of a group.

Supervision & Coaching

Problems cannot be solved with the same mindset that created them."

Albert Einstein

Supervision and coaching are two (work-related) consulting formats that can be understood as guidance for self-reflection for personal development. In one-on-one conversations, in groups, or in teams, entrenched ways of thinking can be broken down and viewed from a different perspective. Supervision is process-oriented, and coaching is also an accompanied change process. Through impulses, new perspectives and behaviors can be gained and individual communication and action skills can be expanded. The promotion of self-reflection and self-awareness enables the identification of problem causes and serves to improve and expand professional opportunities with regard to perception, experience, and behavior.

Consulting services

The initial consultation is used to clarify the request and the assignment, and to jointly determine the most suitable form of counseling. The duration and number of sessions depend on the counseling request.

For individuals:
  • Individual supervision or individual coaching
  • Coaching for yoga and Pilates instructors, dance and theater teachers
  • Case supervision
  • 60-90 Minutes
For groups and teams:
  • Teamsupervision
  • Group supervision
  • Case supervision
  • Management supervision or management coaching
  • from 90 minutes

Utilising physical potential

Thanks to my background in physical therapy, a multidimensional approach and a holistic view are also an essential part of my work as a counsellor.

Depending on the consultation request and personal preferences, various methods of bodywork can also be used, or various relaxation techniques can be learned as part of a training programme.

This can, for example, influence decision-making processes or enrich personal change or development processes through bodywork.

Vita

Life is unthinkable without movement."
